Today, third-generation company president Jon Glabman takes great pride in having built a world-class airline services operation, Elite Airline Linen of New York, Inc., from the ground up. He credits this enduring success to attention to detail, an unwavering commitment to excellence, and maintaining an intimate understanding of global customers' everyday business needs.
The New York operation is based out of a 35,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, conveniently located minutes from John F. Kennedy International Airport. It serves JFK, LaGuardia and Newark Liberty International Airports, Philadelphia and Washington Dulles airports, and Baltimore/Washington International Airport and Reagan National Airport as well as commuter airports in Teterboro, New Jersey and White Plains, New York — 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Elite’s JFK facility is equipped with some of the newest technologies in the laundry business. Our completely automated washing and drying system includes 2 tunnel washers and 6 dryers, each with 300 pounds of capacity. Both of these systems are computer-controlled and all customer goods are labeled prior to processing, which alleviates any losses or mixing of goods. Elite has 7 ironers that provide the finest finishing to linens. All linens are packaged in plastic and labeled for prompt delivery.
Based out of our 40,000-square-foot warehouse, we recently acquired an adjacent property with an additional 8,000 square-foot building which will be retrofitted and used for warehousing of airline supplies. Whether you need pristine airline linen, blankets, or a variety of audio headsets, we're the team for you. Elite of New York is also your one-stop source for pillows, disposable pillowcases, headrest covers (with or without your logo) and other disposable items.
